How can I find a marketing company and do I need an attorney first?

How can I get into a Marketing position at a large company or marketing firm without a marketing degree?

I am currently a top producing retail consultant, who is great at building relationships and problem solving. I would welcome any suggestions, as to how I may get a foot in the door, even if the position is not in sales. Thank you.
